A Jump Above Derby Cross Horse Shows
A fun event combining show jump and cross country in one course!
The A Jump Above Derby Cross events feature a course of show jumps and cross country obstacles appropriate to the level.
Courses begin with show jumping fences and move to cross country obstacles. Elements that may be on course include water crossings, banks, ditches, and combinations reflecting the allowed USEA cross country obstacles.
Derby crosses will begin at Training (3'3") and work down to intro level (18"). Riders wishing to jump multiple rounds at the same level or level below or above may do so, but show jumps will not be adjusted. For all levels below novice, a lead horse will be on course to help guide horses are riders as needed.
Venues include the Great Meadow Foundation, Cabin Branch Farm, and Surefire Farm.
